Open House for New 4-H Beekeeping Community Club in Kalamazoo County

Pollinators, bees, butterflies, bats, hummingbirds, native bees and much more!

Come out and learn about our new and exciting 4-H program related to beekeeping. We’ll talk about why we need bees, what it will take to be a bee keeper, ideas about cooking with honey, related craft ideas, entrepreneur ideas, etc. Don’t want to house a hive at your home/farm — that’s ok. Many local farms are looking for hives for their farms and we can help make those contacts!

For ages 9 and up.

Must be a 4-H member.

Not a 4-H member? Don't worry, we will help you become one. We will be helping everyone signup and will have more information at the open house.

Come to the meeting and see what it's all about, no obligation to join or become a member.

Don't like bees? Don't want a hive? Allergic? That's ok, we have MANY other projects and educational programs for those who don't/can't have a bee hive.

Don't live in Kalamazoo County? That's ok too, you can still join!!
